Stunning visually-rich planetarium show.

Blockbuster fulldome film about Darwin's life and work. Join the young Charles Darwin on an adventurous voyage of exploration circumnavigating the world on the HMS Beagle. Audience response suggests this is the best fulldome film we've ever run, but due to licensing costs it is unfortunately not part of our current regular programme. 

Showings:

Bookable on demand by schools and groups. Shows for groups are usually also open to the public. Check our events calendar for early warning of when these shows are scheduled, or find them on the planetarium schedule.

Scheduled showings: Fri 9th March, 2pm. 

This show is also often scheduled during our Adult evenings (ages 18yr+ only).

Tickets: exhibition admission +£2.20, or £4.75 planetarium-only rate for any shows that end at closing time. Different rates for the Adults Only evenings. Adults Only show can be pre-booked, but for other shows pre-booking is available only to registered groups and birthday parties.

Natural Selection is best for adults and children aged 11yr+, although younger children would also enjoy it if happy to sit quietly. It's a beautifully made show with very rich detail as you travel through the different environments Darwin encounters during his life.
