Join our presenter for a whirlwind tour of the universe. Start by spotting a few stars, then go for a quick tour of the solar system before flying out of our galaxy and beyond. There is no better way to get a sense of the unimaginable scale of our incredible universe. Each show is a little different as the presenter navigates the virtual environment in real-time.

Newsflash: we now have software from the University of Southampton that allows us to hear what audience members would sound like on other planets! This software will be used in Flight Through the Universe shows through the Easter Holidays and for the foreseeable future. This show is best for ages 8yr+ as younger children tend to lose their sense of space once we get to the galaxy! Younger children would prefer the Planet Show (which uses the same software). A more grown-up version of this show is available on our Adults Only evenings.

Subtitles: an adapted version of this show is available with subtitles and/or BSL interpretation. Groups can request this version, which is also occasionally run within our normal schedule (in response to demand). Scheduled showings will appear on our events calendar as soon as they are confirmed.

Showings: Depends on presenter availability, usually showing at weekends or during school holidays, also on Adults Only evenings. Please check schedule or get a longer-term view on our events calendar. 40min show.
