'Informing future scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians'
Greenpower Goblins in Portsmouth

GOOD NEWS FOR TECHNOLOGY IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS!

SETPOINT Hampshire and the Isle of Wight with GREENPOWER have joined forces with SEEDA to launch an exciting electric racing car project in the Portsmouth area.

Greenpower Goblins in Portsmouth 2007–8

This year’s competition was considered a great success.

The race day was very well organised and despite the cold and the rain everyone had a fantastic day.

Pupil participation and involvement was brilliant, as was the support provided by the Science and Engineering Ambassadors.

With each school taking an average 40 - 60 hours on the project it is fantastic that most of the schools who took part this year will be taking part again.

SEEDA’s sponsorship enabled the event to take place this year but we do need funding to run next year’s event.

Without funding, it won’t happen.
