Data Logging at INTECH

 

A course for Primary Teachers

 

At INTECH, Science & Discovery Centre, Morn Hill, Winchester

On Monday 12th November 2007 

 

Summary

The Science Learning Centre South East and INTECH have joined forces to show how to use data logging to collect data from the interactive exhibits at the centre. INTECH has installed data capture points at many of its exhibits and provides dataloggers for use by visiting schools.The data loggers are robust and easy to use.

During the morning you will receive instruction on the use of dataloggers and be shown a range of activities that you can undertake with groups or classes of children.

After lunch you will tour INTECH and learn about the science behind the exhibits and how to collect data which may be analysed at the centre or copied for use back in the classroom.

 

The course will cover

  • dataloggers - what they are and how to use them
  • how to instruct children in the use of dataloggers
  • using dataloggers with children with the exhibits at INTECH
