Throughout history people have come up with ideas that help solve problems or improve our health, travel, communications and entertainment to name but a few.

At the ideas hub you can think of anything that in the future would help learning, entertainment or travel?

 

Using their intelligence, our earliest ancestors soon learned to use the materials and objects close at hand in ways to help them. The discovery of fire, the melting of metals, and the use of animals, the development of farming and the invention of the wheel-all marked the first great changes in civilization. The industrially revolution saw a major leap in the development of new technology in our lifetime. It is mankind’s constant desire for discovery that has resulted in space travel, mobile phones and our modern life style. Scientists are constantly trying to develop ways to overcome problems or challenges that have been set. The ideas hub is intended to encourage pupils to think about what could be possible in the future and perhaps they will become one of the scientist or engineers of the future.
